Opening Ceremony – The FUN Run
Join the Opening Ceremony of The League of Cities. Marked by a unique FUN Run dedicated to Cleaning the Cities, this Opening Ceremony is like no other! It starts with a 5 kilometer Run to raise awareness about keeping Cities sustainable. With the ceremonial lightening of the torch by the Chief Minister of the host state, the event is officially started. Participants can then enjoy the events scheduled for the rest of the day in their Stadiums. Early Bird tickets are available only until June 15th 2023.

Whether you are a spectator, a sportsperson, a media mogul, or anybody else : everyone is welcome to be a part of the Opening Ceremony FUN Run!
You’ll be greeted by a parade! This is accompanied by scenic views, songs, and all the fanfare. The parade will lead you right to the venue where the games will be played
We are here to make sure that this is an enjoyable mini-marathon experience for you. Even if you are a first-timer!
We love to share memorabilia as you truly deserve a medal for showing up to support Athletes & crossing that finish line.
You can opt for getting a medal, or to plant a tree in your name. Or both! Our Team will be there to ask you about it
You win the cash prize of INR 38,600/-
Apart from this, you get awarded with a Collector’s Ticket and 3 VIP Seats to the Final. Your personal time records will be maintained by our official timekeeper with the help of the bibs you wear.
- We are avoiding the use of plastic in the FUN Run. There is a special plastic recycling area where you can dispose of plastic. This will be used to make T-shirts
- 40% of the proceeds will be donated to The FUN Foundation, which is working on cleaning & greening the Cities. You can check their commitments here
